We would like to welcome a Production Supervisor to our team.
Under the responsibility of the management, the person in charge with their team is responsible for the complete management of the factory and the manufacturing of medical equipment. The Production Supervisor manages the budgets and production schedule, implements the production plans, oversees their execution, and conducts product conformity checks according to the objectives set by the Quality Director. In addition to acting as a committed leader in his field of expertise, he is responsible for the development, management, and execution of production objectives in terms of productivity, efficiency, and quality, as well as employee management. He supports the company's strategic objectives by working closely with his colleagues.

Essential duties and responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be supplemented by other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Plans work and specifies production stages for medical equipment.
Analyzes drawings to avoid errors and delays.
Documents production steps to ensure more rigorous execution.
Through the assemblers, sees to the installation of dies and other assemblies for production.
Ensures normal maintenance of machinery and tools, as well as preparing and planning tool purchases.
Obtains delivery dates from the purchasing department, and ensures delivery deadlines for contracts, available materials and emergencies with certain customers.
Prepares daily work schedules and ensures their execution.
Coordinates with subcontractors to eliminate discrepancies between promised and actual delivery dates.
Participates in inventories and approves maintenance invoices.
Based on production objectives (innovation, quality and productivity), implements appropriate operating processes to ensure efficient use of materials, labor and technology.
Demonstrates strong, present leadership to maintain a harmonious environment that respects the company's commitments with its partners, subcontractors and employees.
Identifies potential areas of conflict with team members and proposes solutions to resolve them.
Ensures product quality and works with team members to ensure that the quality control system is rigorously applied.
Requirements
College diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience);
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position within a manufacturing SME;
Knowledge of Office 365 software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Familiar with ERP and mapping software;
Able to provide technical support to various trades (machining, assembly, welding, etc.);
Expertise in effective team management through interaction;
Strong ability to read technical manufacturing and assembly drawings;
Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
