This tray optimizes the transit of your flexible endoscopes in complete safety. Designed specifically for the medical industry, this transparent tray has two side handles and a front handle for easy handling. A reusable label (soiled/clean) is inserted between the lid and the tray to indicate the status of the instrument inside, throughout the reprocessing process. This container makes it easy to transport probes as well as flexible endoscopes from a number of medical specialties: gastro-duodenoscopes, colonoscopes, etc. Both the tray and its lid are made from materials specially designed for use in automated washers.

Description

The transport tray for flexible endoscopes has been designed to meet current recommendations for the reprocessing of medical devices, which require separation of the soiled and clean areas. The concept has also been developed to eliminate the use of consumables, so each component of the tray is cleanable and reusable (also compatible with automated washers). This advantage makes it possible to adhere to sustainable and more economical development practices.

Thanks to this tray, the endoscope can be taken care of immediately, clearly and safely, after the operation. Simply place the flexible endoscope inside the transparent tray, close the lid and affix the "soiled" label to indicate the status of the contents.

Once the reprocessing processes have been completed, a label indicating "clean" status can also be affixed to the front of the transport tray for probes and flexible endoscopes assigned for transport.

Cleaning Guide

Cleaning with the automated washer

Cleaning can be performed by washer systems used in healthcare facilities such as the Getinge model 9128.

Hand washing

For manual cleaning, use a clean cloth moistened with a diluted, non-abrasive disinfectant or cleaning solution. After cleaning, rinse and wipe all surfaces thoroughly with a disposable cloth and allow to dry.

Avoid the use of strong alcohol solutions, steel wool or any other abrasive product, as these could damage the surfaces.

Before using any cleaning product, test a small area to see if the surface is not damaged. Disinfectant sprays or wipes can also be used for cleaning and disinfecting.

The frequency of cleaning depends on the use as well as the surrounding conditions. Refer to your infection control department for the proper cleaning procedure.

Suggested cleaning solutions:

- Sodium hypochlorite 1.5% (bleach), 1:10 dilution ;

- Hydrogen peroxide, accelerated formula 0.5%.

- Liquid soap.

Always follow the dilution instructions and the advice of the manufacturers of the cleaning products used.

Endoscope transport trays are designed to fit perfectly into this sturdy, agile cart made entirely of stainless steel. Available in four versions, the transport cart can be equipped with double doors, an open front, two open sides or open on all four sides for easy access to the trays.

Endoscope transport bins fit into the pass-through cabinet, which provides a physical separation between the clean and soiled areas. This cabinet can accommodate up to seven transport trays at a time. Its solid, 100% grade 304 stainless steel construction makes it a perfect transfer or storage area for sterilization environments and MRU departments in hospitals and private clinics.

Endoscope trays can be transported in the closed transport cart (model RDM-CH-01-M), which is designed for the safe movement of scope trays and sterile containers.
