Pass-Through Endoscope Transport and Storage Cabinet
Pass-through Cabinet - Endosocope Trays
Endoscopy
Medistor endoscope cabinets are available in a variety of sizes to store 6 to 40 flexible endoscopes, depending on your needs. Each cabinet includes a range of features, such as ergonomic accessibility, a traceability system, channel ventilation, and many others. Three types of functional storage allow hospitals to optimize their space according to their needs while ensuring endoscopes are stored safely and without risk of cross-contamination. These HEPA-ventilated storage cabinets can be combined to create a setup with a capacity that meets the diverse needs of medical device reprocessing departments (MDRDs), endoscopy departments, ENT departments, and operating rooms. These storage units can be used by private clinics as well as public institutions, hospitals, and laboratories requiring the storage, drying, and traceability of endoscopic devices. These endoscope cabinets are also available in a pass-through version with interlocking doors.

To speed up the drying process, the vertical position of the flexible parts of the endoscopes allows gravity to facilitate the flow of water and minimize the risk of water accumulating inside the endoscope. To prevent any deterioration in the microbiological quality of stored endoscopes, the cabinet has airtight doors and is ventilated with HEPA filtered air. This ensures a controlled and safe environment.
MEDISTOR cabinets are equipped with a comprehensive traceability system and channel ventilation. During channel ventilation, airflow follows the direction of gravity, beginning with an initial purge followed by continuous positive pressure ventilation. The endoscope channels are ventilated using a ventilation system equipped with HEPA filters that is independent of the cabinet’s ventilation system.
All MEDISTOR cabinets have been carefully developed to meet and exceed the Public Health Agency of Canada's INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL GUIDELINE for Flexible Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Flexible Bronchoscopy.
Single-row storage facilitates endoscope accessibility. Arranged in a straight line, endoscopic instruments are all visible and stored without any contact between the flexible channels suspended vertically in the HEPA air-filtered cabinet. This arrangement of endoscopes minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

Endoscope storage on sliding holders offers an ergonomic solution for medical staff. An easily retractable device on which four flexible endoscopes can be suspended with the aid of guides enables safe storage in the HEPA air-filtered cabinet. In addition, endoscopes are stored individually without contact inside vertical storage partitions. To make it easier for users to access the endoscope, the instrument hooks are positioned at an ergonomic height on pull-out rails.
