Partnership with MDT Surgical

Adaptaid is proud to announce the creation of a new partnership with MDT Surgical for the sale of its medical equipment in Ontario. Caitlin Starnino and Derek Freudenthaler, both founders of MDT Surgical, share Adaptaid’s commitment to innovate in order to make a meaningful impact on healthcare.

It is to create a better future for healthcare that Adaptaid has been designing and manufacturing for over 25 years high-end medical equipment for several medical specialties. Thanks to its production initially dedicated to multinationals such as Baxter, Gambro, Stryker and Fresenieus, Adaptaid has seen its products distributed around the globe.

Over time, demand for the company’s manufactured medical equipment has increased, adding the country’s hospitals and clinics to its customer base. Today very present in Quebec thanks to a close collaboration with local health institutions, Adaptaid aspires to further expand its presence in Ontario in order to be able to offer more specialized solutions to this market. To better meet the specific requirements of Ontario hospitals, Adaptaid joins forces with MDT Surgical.

Its President, Sylvie Charette, said, “Thanks to our shared values and the vast experience of the medical industry in Caitlin and Derek, we are confident that our Ontario clientele will benefit from exceptional service”. For their part, MDT Surgical co-founders Caitlin Sarnino and Derek Freudenthaler both say they are “very excited to promote Canadian-made equipment that is one step ahead of medical standards.”

With this new collaboration with MDT Surgical, Adaptaid intends to remain attentive to the specific requirements of its customers to continue its manufacturing and research and development activities. Sylvie Charette points out that "the innovation, design and manufacture of Adaptaid’s medical equipment reflects our desire to constantly improve patient care while facilitating the work of health professionals."

As technological advances are at the heart of Adaptaid’s strategic orientations, MDT Surgical looks forward to the opportunity to offer its customers products in perpetual evolution that exceed the standards of the country.
