Adaptaid is proud to announce the release of its new medical equipment videos, filmed in the context of their use. In order to demonstrate the practical, efficient and safe aspects of our products, we have captured these images in the hospitals where they are used.

Adaptaid's medical equipment is characterized by its many customizable features and ergonomic design. The Medistor cabinet with sliding holders enhances accessibility and ergonomics to optimize the work of hospital staff. Its traceability system provides access to user, device and patient information.Endoscope access is facilitated by sliding holders set at an ergonomic height, on which tension-free flexible endoscope holders are mounted. Guides ensure safe storage without contact with other endoscopes, thus reducing the risk of cross-infections. Thanks to flexible tips, the tubing that carries air to dry the channels is quickly connected. To help with the evacuation of water, the channels are ventilated in the direction of gravity, starting with an initial purge followed by continuous positive pressure ventilation. The cabinet is ventilated through two independent systems with HEPA filters, one for the chamber and the other for the channels.

2- MEDISTOR Cabinet with Traceability

Adaptaid’s endoscopy product line ensures the efficient transport, storage and drying of endoscopes from all the leading brands. The MEDISTOR cabinet allows controlled user access via an electronic locking system. From the touch-screen of the traceability system, each instrument check-in and check-out is recorded to ensure storage time complies with regulatory standards. In the chamber ventilated in positive pressure with HEPA filters, molded holders protect the integrity of the endoscopes and are placed at an easily accessible height. Removable guides enable contact-free storage of endoscopes in two parallel rows. Thanks to the tubing connected directly to the endoscopes, the channels receive a flow of air from top to bottom via a dedicated ventilation system.The traceability system makes it possible to track the usage data of each endoscopic device, drying cycles or modify cabinet settings. 3- MEDICASE Cabinet - Storage of Sterile Instruments

The MEDICASE range of cabinets has been designed to recreate the sterile environment of the MDRD positive pressure ventilated rooms. Also manufactured by Adaptaid, the closed cart provides a durable and efficient transport solution for sterilization containers. When loading and delivering instruments, the cart door can be folded to the side, where it remains attached to keep the opening clear. For optimal control of their environment, MEDICASE cabinets can be equipped with a barcode reader and a traceability system. To ensure secure storage at all times, authorized access is required to open the doors. In addition, each check in and check out of material is quickly recorded thanks to a simple reading of the code affixed to the sterilization containers. 

Since containers come in different sizes, the interior of the cabinet has been designed to allow the height adjustment of the shelves. Ergonomics and instrument accessibility are further enhanced by shelves that easily slide out. Designed to meet the challenges of sterilization, the MEDICASE cabinet features watertight doors to maintain an aseptic environment.

5- Pass-through Cabinet

At Adaptaid, we are truly committed to the prevention of infections and patient safety. It is therefore through the constant search for ways to minimize the risk of contamination that our pass-through cabinet has been developed.

The design has been carefully created to ensure safe passage between two adjacent areas with interlocking doors. The cabinet interior allows for a wide variety of configurations to safely store instruments such as probes and endoscopes. Thanks to the full-size windows on both sides, the pass-through contents can be identified at a glance. The chamber is ventilated with a HEPA filter to facilitate drying and maintain the biological integrity of the instruments inside.

6- Case Carts

Made entirely of stainless steel, the Adaptaid case carts ensure safe transport of surgical instruments.

The directional lock release is accessible when standing to allow lateral movement. For efficient stopping, two of the four wheels of the cart are equipped with a total lock brake. To facilitate loading, a magnetic device holds the folded doors on the side. Sliding shelves provide better access to medical devices inserted at the back of the trolley. This helps reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury. The internal configuration of the cart can be customized by removing or adding shelves. It is also possible to position them at different heights to optimize the interior space for the supplies, surgical instruments and cases to be inserted. Once closed, the double-walled sealed doors provide additional aseptic protection for medical devices. 

Fitted with robust, heat-resistant wheels, Adaptaid's case carts are compatible with cart washers.
